Forgiveness

The Jones Library and Art & Soul present a series of programs during the month of September on the theme of forgiveness, including a mini community read and a film  series as a part of a yearlong effort called The Forgiveness Project.  As a basis for this project is the newly released book by Desmond Tutu, called The Book of Forgiving.  Join us on Sundays at 2 p.m. throughout the month of September for this community conversation on the questions, challenges, struggles, and possibilities of forgiveness.

Copies of the books are available for checkout at the reference desk, can be requested through the C/W Mars system, or can be purchased from your favorite bookseller.

On 9/7, 9/14, and 9/21, there will be a film series reflecting on forgiveness.
On 9/28, there will be a community discussion, loosely based on Tutu's book, to allow sharing of questions, challenges, and thoughts on forgiveness.
