In case you haven't quite yet gotten your Mother's Day act together, swing by the Jones Library. Pick up a copy of The Well Read Cook for $10. Just 10 simoleons! What a bargain! Go home, wrap that baby up, make a card, and sit back and rest. Confident in the knowledge that you've got Mother's Day all taken care of this year. And?  You've just vaulted into Mom's Favorite status.  Nicely done.

Lost in translation

It's always fun to discover the literal translation of words in other languages. We're lookin' at you,  soutien-gorge .   Here's an article entitled  25 Foreign Words With Hilarious Literal Meanings  that does just that. 'Course, makes you wonder what non-native English speakers make of terms like "ragamuffin," "sideburns," and "poppycock..."
